Colorado Academy Author Visit
Presentation to all CA Middle School students. Each student received a signed copy of Royal Planet! Afterwards, I received over a 170+ handwritten thank you notes from students. A kind gesture that speaks to the character of the school.
Keynote Speaker for Colorado Springs School Young Authors Awards Ceremony to entire Lower School. All 5th graders and 1st place winners received a signed hard copy of Royal Planet! How cool, right?! I had a wonderful time with the CSS Lower School Principle, Head of School, faculty and community.
Royal Planet placed as a finalist in the Best Fiction category in the 2023 International Book Awards, the world’s largest book awards program for independent publishers and self-published authors. The ceremony took place at the historic and prestigious, Newberry Library in Chicago, IL. I was humbled and honored to meet fellow award-winning authors from around the world.
Audiobook: Behind the Scenes
I spent the summer creating the Audiobook version of Royal Planet. I worked with The Keep Recording Studio and had a blast with Jeff and Andreas. Be sure to get a copy on Amazon Audible. I narrated the entire book myself!
Tattered Cover Author Event
My first book signing in the books! Tattered Cover is one of the largest independent bookstores in the United States and I'm so grateful for their support. Thank you to everyone who came to see me!
LeadHERship Conference
I was a featured keynote speaker at The LeadHERship Conference. The conference is dedicated to reshaping STEM by empowering women and gender minorities, and championing social justice and equity. This conference united individuals from diverse backgrounds for a weekend of motivation, networking, skill-building, and professional development.
