Christina was crowned Mrs. Colorado American 2024, making history as the first person to win the title on her very first attempt in the pageant’s 48-year history. She went on to represent Colorado at the Mrs. American National Pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she earned the prestigious title of 1st Runner-Up.
Her journey as Mrs. Colorado American 2024 and as 1st Runner-Up at Mrs. American 2024 has been profoundly transformative. These experiences have bestowed upon Christina invaluable opportunities for personal growth, the formation of lifelong friendships, and the privilege of making meaningful contributions to her community, all of which continue to shape Christina's life and purpose.
As an active titleholder with over 100 impactful appearances, Christina has embraced opportunities to connect with diverse communities and create lasting memories. She has had the privilege of traveling to 12 states and 5 countries during her reign. While on these journeys, Christina has upheld a cherished tradition rooted in her childhood visits to India: supporting orphanages through meaningful donations, a practice close to Christina's heart.
Here is Christina's farewell speech on April 5, 2025:
As I stand before you tonight, it is hard to put into words how grateful I am for this journey. Last year, participating in this pageant for the first time was more than just an event, it has been a life-changing experience, one that I will carry with me forever.
A woman’s ability to strike a balance between her ambitions and personal identity is one of the most remarkable aspects of her multifaceted personality. Being an award-winning engineer and author, sought- after speaker, wife of 16 years, mom of two boys and Mrs. Colorado American proves that women can be anything they want to be, even if those things are seemingly opposite. This year, I had the honor to meet with Colorado’s Governor Polis and speak about STEM awareness to middle school girls and women’s healthcare. I was the Master of Ceremonies of the Colorado Hero Awards and featured speaker at events across the country including representing America in the Parade of Nations at Global Fest. I walked in Denver, New York and Paris Fashion Weeks. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many talented, inspiring, and compassionate individuals across the world. Each one of you has added something special to my life, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To my fellow contestants: You are all truly remarkable. Each one of you brought something unique and special. It’s this spirit of sisterhood and strength that makes this pageant more than just a competition – it is a celebration of who we are, individually and together. I encourage you to continue dreaming big, to always stand tall, and to never let anyone dull your sparkle. You have shown the world your courage, your grace, and your power and that is something no title can ever define.
To Bethany and April: thank you for your grace, your strength, and your love. You have made this journey unforgettable, and I know our bond will last far beyond this stage. I am so proud of all that we have accomplished, and I can’t wait to see where life takes each of us next.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the judges, sponsors, former Colorado queens especially our pageant director, Emily Stark. You have helped shape not only our pageant but our futures. Your kindness and support have been overwhelming.
To my husband, Jess and my boys – Xavier and Isaac - thank you for your unwavering love and encouragement. To me, being a wife and mother is the most important titles and I loved sharing this entire experience with you.
While tonight marks the end of my journey as Mrs. Colorado American, it is only the beginning of the next chapter. I will continue to support and uplift others, just as I have been supported, and I will strive to make a positive impact on the world around me.
Thank you to everyone who believed in me. I am forever grateful.
Goodbye and good luck to all the contestants. Keep shining!
Your Mrs. Colorado American 2024, Christina Joymon
